The Maritime Security Operative course is a secularist course that is aimed at people who would like to work as maritime security operators.

During this 5-day intensive training, you will acquire the necessary skills, obtain the certificates required for work, but most of all you will receive specific instructions on this and you will be introduced to the database of operators of our agency that provides employment intermediation.

The course includes:

Certificate – ship security issues
Psychological examination and a certificate allowing work with a weapon
Shooting training
Tactical Combat Casualty Care training
Training in self-defense and intervention techniques
Ship security procedures and tactics
Rules for the use of weapons during protective activities in endangered areas

MSO 8269 qualification has been mapped against the Personnel in Designated Security Duties (PDSD) as required by the STCW Convention (as amended in Manila 2010) Regulation VI/6. To achieve this certificate is part of your level 3 learning outcomes and the PDSD certificate is provided free of charge.

Our training emphasizes the importance of reporting, emergency procedures, vessel hardening, citadel construction and crew preparedness. Students receive weapons proficiency and scenario-based training, including weapons handling procedures and metered escalation of force exercises.
