Entry Requirements

There are no formal prerequisites for the OERTM training programme.

Delegates will be required to complete a medical questionnaire and confirm their fitness to participate in the training prior to the start of the course.

Training and assessment activities may include physically demanding and potentially stressful elements.

Delegates must be physically and mentally capable of participating fully.

This certificate is valid for two years from date of issue. This certificate should be refreshed with the two-day OERTM Further Training. The certificate must be revalidated before the expiry date or up to 3 months before course enrolment date, incurring no loss of time on new certificate start.

Career Options and Progression

This course is required by a duty holder to ensure adequate emergency response, and may increase employability.
