This 3.5 day course is offered with the option of twin, single fall or combined fall training. Aim of course Gain the necessary skills and knowledge required to operate an Offshore TEMPSC.

Important course information This course is OPITO approved and is valid for UK waters and areas where OPITO courses are accepted.

Validity of certificate :Two years including OPITO registration. This certificate should be revalidated with the TEMPSC Coxswains Refresher course up to 3 months before the expiry date, incurring no loss of time on new certificate start.

Entry Requirements

Delegates must be in possession of a current in date Basic Offshore and Emergency Training (BOSIET) certificate or an in date Further Offshore Emergency Training (FOET).

An Offshore Energies UK Medical (Formally OGUK) is required prior to travelling offshore however is not compulsory to attend the course. For an up to date list of doctors providing this service visit the Offshore Energies UK website.

Career Options and Progression

This course is required by a duty holder to ensure adequate emergency response. This course may increase employability but this is not guaranteed.
